CPD for Cardiac CT Specialists

We recognise the importance of maintaining your expertise and meeting the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements set by both the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

We can provide 25 CPD hours, designed specifically for re-accrediting CTCA specialists and enhancing skills in cardiac imaging.

CPD Categories We Cover

Our course meets the criteria for Category 1 and Category 2 CPD activities under RANZCR and is structured to align with the RACP’s 2024 MyCPD Framework:

  • Category 1 (Educational Activities):
    • This includes structured online learning, video modules, and case studies, essential for broadening your knowledge and skill set in cardiac CT.
    • Suitable for meeting 12 hours of CPD activity requirements.
  • Category 2 (Reviewing Performance and Reflecting on Practice):
    • Our course promotes reflective practice through interactive learning and case-based discussion, enhancing clinical effectiveness.
    • Supports ongoing self-assessment and peer-reviewed learning in alignment with RACP’s framework.
    • Suitable for meeting 13 hours of CPD activity requirements.

RANZCR confirms that participants may claim the following CPD hours for completing the course:
 
– 13 CPD hours may be claimed under Reviewing Performance and Reflecting on Practice – CPD Activity type “Review of Cases”; and
– 12 CPD hours may be claimed under Educational Activities

(please note you will need to add the course as two separate CPD activities to claim hours in each of the categories)
